Started ballroom and latin dance lessons in my mid forties after being divorced for a year. Needed a change and always wanted to learn. Took my first lesson and was hooked. 3 months later the owner asked me if I wanted to teach. Of course I said yes. Taught beginning and bronze for 3 years until things went south. Still continued to dance. Started country dancing a couple years into teaching, Found a great little hole in the wall bar for country but I had a couple great partners that could follow me in ballroom and latin. The country dancers didn't mind. In fact I got a few private lessons out of it. I have now relocated to Mesquite Texas from Tucson AZ. Just started a new job a month ago. Currently without transportation for at least a couple more months. I've been looking on line for a place to go country dancing. Also a place to go brush up on my ballroom and latin. So far nothing. It's been awhile since I've been out dancing so more than likely a little rusty and out of shape. Before COVID I was dancing at least 4 times a week.
Would like to find someone who likes to dance country, ballroom and latin. Someone who follows not lead. I promise not to step on your toes. Though I'm 63 age doesn't matter on the dance floor or for that matter in life. If two people have a connection they have a connection. At this point I'm not looking for a personal relationship just dancing. Once in settled I'll reevaluate. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. I'm pretty open.
